Effects: More then 35 millions years ago, a 15-story wall of the water triggered by a meteor strike washed over Virginia from its coast then located at Richmond to the foot the inland Blue Ridge Mountains an impact that would effect millions of people should it occur today.  My conclusion: The meteor can hit the earth ever again and humans can't avoid.
