It helps him to stay a human being and be an essential part of this system And now we would like to tell you about one “part” of our life and society – subcultures ( for example we take emo) All in all, this problem is actual nowadays

How we were working I was a member of this subculture 2 years ago and communicated with emo kids. And now I know about their life style, hobbies, leisure time, music and literature, about history of origin. Also they told me about their problems and asked my advice. I was interested in and made a questionary survey and it helped me to find 3 main reasons of joining to this group: They think that world is unfair to them (37%) Boredom, follow their friends(39%) Want to make world better, they want to improve in this direction (24%)

And what about parent’s attitude? Also I had warm relations with emo’s parents and also I made a questionary survey among them. About 70 % of parents have negative attitude to subculture of emo, they try to make their children to make their mind. Other 30 % of parents try to understand and accept their children’s interest to this subculture

Emo as a subculture appeared in Russia in 21 century and immediately became criticized by the Duma. It happened in the conference on June 2 2008 when the members of Government discussed the problem of teens’ training . EMO were taken as a violent subculture as punks and skinheads which could lead to suicide. My own experience changed my mind about this group. And to tell the truth, I’m glad that the Government paid attention to this problem.

Emo- kids. Who are they? Emo — the youth subculture formed on the basis of admirers of the musical style of the same name. its representatives are called “emo kids”. Actually, emo are the same people as you are. We are individual, so we are different. We listen to different music, carry out different ways of life, we have different opinion. I don’t agree that we must hate emo. Pushkin said: «learn to control yourself.» I want to say that if you hate them and told how to live you infringe their rights. We live in Russia. Constitution is our common set of laws. It applies to everyone. To my mind, emo is a way to show your individuality, improve your skills, became a famous designer or singer

Life style I have my own experience and it helped me to understand that the main rule for EMO is to express emotions, opposition, special, sensual attitude. Often EMO— the vulnerable and depressive person. In spite of the fact that EMOcore appeared and developed as punk rock subspecies, valuable orientations of these subcultures are absolutely various . The attention of EMO is more often paid to deep personal experience, than to public events. Subculture is one of the main parts of teens’ life and there are a lot of movies about teens’ life. The brightests one is “School’ by Guy Germanika which proves that EMO is often compared to Gothic subculture that usually causes a protest and a bigger risk of suicide.

Style Traditional hairdress of emo consists of slanting tip fragmentary bang to a nose closing one eye. The preference is given to a hard straight black hair. Girls prefer ridiculous hairdresses — two "small tails". Often emo kids pierce,lips, and the left nostril, eyebrows or do tunnels. Both young men, and girls can make up lips under skin colour, use light foundation. Eye shadow is used densely by a pencil or ink. Nails cover with a black varnish.
