АКТУАЛЬНОСТЬ Сегодня очень многие подростки увлечены изучением английского языка. И язык интересует их не только как школьный предмет, а как возможность попрактиковаться в знании языка, путешествуя по миру. Мы понимаем, что какую бы профессию не выбрали, знание английского языка нам всегда пригодится для успешной карьеры.

ПРОБЛЕМА Так случилось, что на уроках химии нам стали предлагать для перевода химические тексты на английском языке. Перевод таких текстов сопряжен с определенными трудностями знания химической терминологии и протекающих химических превращений. Для того, чтобы правильно сделать перевод нужно понимать суть химического процесса.

ЦЕЛЬ: Создать школьное пособие по химии на английском языке, повысить интерес к изучению химии и английского языка и уметь применять знания, полученные на этих предметах.

РАБОЧАЯ ГИПОТЕЗА Любой сказочный текст, всегда легче читается, нежели научный. Картинки в тексте, отражающие смысл написанного, помогут быстрее сделать перевод. На уроках химии, переводя английский текст, придется поломать голову, соотнося сказочное явление с конкретным процессом, свойственным щелочным металлам. А перевод с русского языка на английский заставит не раз обратиться к словарю, что поможет расширить область знания предмета.
